The GCHV Nursing program offers future and current nursing professionals a transformative clinical immersion experience. Operate on the front lines of care in Belize, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Nicaragua, and apply your nursing expertise in settings that demand creativity, autonomy, and leadership.

Triage and Clinical Assessment
Develop clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize care in crisis situations—including essential skills for Emergency and Critical Care units.
Community Health and Education

Holistic Care and Cultural Sensitivity
Evening education sessions focus on teaching skills needed to assess vital signs in preparation for our Patient Assessment Stations in our mobile clinics. You will learn how to translate patient in-take information into relevant information for the physicians allowing you to engage in community-level preventive health management.
Enhances therapeutic communication and leadership in health teaching, strengthening the nursing pillar of public health.
